  • I Come Bringing Shoes
    0 comments

Sorry I've been remiss for awhile, a mysterious illness has really taken me out. Since I've been on medical leave from work for the past two weeks, my daily outfits have been a rotation of tank tops and sweatpants. I promise we'll get back to photos and clothing soon.

For now, I come bringing shoes. Another side effect of staying home sick is watching a lot of one of my guilty shows The Girls Next Door. Now all I want to do is play dress up, starting with frilly, Marie Antoinette heels.

I actually didn't wear this outside

    Jacket - Goodwill for $6.99
    Cardigan - H&M
    Flannel - Urban Outfitters
    Skirt - Delias
Flats- Goodwill (they used to be Isaac Mizrahi Target)

I think I found the thrift store where Target clothes go to die. I have a big right ear. Anyway, I actually wore pants today, but this would be a pretty ideal outfit if I had the balls to wear a skirt outside. The temperature right now is around 40 so I guess I could, but I'm a wimp.

These shoes sated my blood lust for grey ankle boots. For now at least.

I didn't realize I owned so many grey dresses.

    Jacket: F21
Dress: F21 (this is actually really shameful, but both were acquired in college!)
    Green tank: Banana Republic
    Shoes: Steve Madden

I just watched Penelope last night so I'm all about Mary Jane heels and my purple coat. Complimentary colors next!

White Safari type shirt - Old Navy (even though you can't see it)
    Cropped Pants- Old Navy
    Purple Tights- Target
    Heels - Nine West

I was going to get a hair cut today but my hair surprised me with a pretty cool Bob Dylan mess up there. My hairstylist also called in sick so tomorrow tomorrow will be when I get rid of the party in the back. As usual I am again on the blood lust hunt for platform opened toed booties. It never ends.

    March 2, 2008Scarf - H&M
    Anorak - H&M
    White tank - American Apparel
    Pants - Erin for Target
    Shoes - Y3 adidas

I went on a crazy H&M Shopping Bonanza yesterday. I got eight pieces that totaled $159 so I guess that's not that bad. Thank goodness for no taxes on necessities like clothes. I'm still on the hunt for a few pairs of shoes and simple but edgey basics. Ever since working at Target I've been feeling the pressure to step up my game. Everyone at work is ADORABLE. It's like WTF? Neil felt the same way, we both were like, how the hell are we the slovenly ones in the Midwest?!
