    Dress: vintage, Buffalo Exchange(!)
    Cardigan: Banana Republic
    Belt: Banana Republic
    Flat: Bass Outlet

I couldn't believe my stroke of luck when I found this gorgeous 1960s style housewife dress on the racks of a Buffalo Exchange in San Diego late last year. Usually Buffalo Exchange is a trove of Nordstrom, Banana Republic and F21 cast-offs, which I feel less guilty buying since it's recycled, cute clothing. But every so often, I find incredible one-of-a-kind pieces. This authentic vintage dress might be the crown jewel of those finds. It has a perfectly tucked and nipped waist that makes it look miniscule when I'm not wearing a cozy long cardigan, since it is still winter. I had to update the look a bit with a modern cardigan & skinny belt twist, but mostly it was because of the cold morning. I have no problem looking like I stepped out of an episode of the Donna Hay show.

I for one, can't wait for spring.
